Major R. Jake Alleman is an Intermediate Level Education (ILE) Fellow at the Institute for Future Conflict at the US Air Force Academy. His research focuses on Indo-Pacific problem sets, specifically on the effective use of operations in the information domain and the employment of proliferated low earth orbit constellations.
Previously, Major Alleman served for ten years in the USEUCOM and USINDOPACOM theaters. He has spent time as an operations flight commander, Joint Task Force member, and PACAF speechwriter, has done two Air Operations Center tours, and stood up the S6 for U.S. Space Forces Indo-Pacific. Major Alleman has a B.S. in Military Strategic Studies from the US Air Force Academy, an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and has been published in War on the Rocks and The Strategy Bridge.
